Floral Dreams Mini Album

Hello,

I created this mini album with the Floral Dreams Mini Album Kit by K & Company.
Love the Blues, Purples and Greens in this collection.

The mini frame on the cover is a chipboard piece that I painted with Ranger Paint daubers in white and celery. Then I sprayed it with Maya Road Mist in Lime. Love this color! It's super fun and glittery in person.

I also used some prima lace, flat back pearls, recollection and prima roses and a shabby fabric flower with a pearl center.

I kept the left page simple for a large photo and lined the bottom of the page with white seam binding, green prima lace, and flatback pearls. The right page has room for a large photo and is also a pocket that holds a few tags.

The right page has another large photo mat and a floral cluster in the corner with a memo pin and an adage ticket that I glimmer misted in Marshmallow.

I used the Martha Stewart Fence punch for the "pocket". This is the punch that has the bats on it, I simply cut them off with my exacto knife. Here is another floral cluster with Recollection and IamRoses flowers.
The right page has a Stampin' Up Scalloped envelope made into a pocket with a few tags, and a fabric flower with a pearl center.

These last two pages were very simple. A large photo mat and some satin ribbon with flatback pearls and a prima flower which a few more tags can fit behind.

I used the Cinch to bind this album and tied seam binding and satin ribbon along the side.

Thanks for Looking!

Father's Day Card - Golf

Hello,

Since Father's Day is right around the corner, I thought it was time to get started on making some cards.

My dad loves to Golf so I thought this Golf cart from the Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge was perfect.

I cut the Golf cart out twice, once in grey and once in black. Then I cut some of the pieces off that I wanted to be black (steering wheel, seat, wheels). I glossy accented some of the pieces to make them stand out a bit.

I used my cuddlebug to emboss the sky and the grass.

Thanks for Stopping by!

Hugs,
Vanessa

Roar Birthday Card

Happy Monday!

Today I have a fun Lion Birthday card that I created with the B is for Boy Cricut Lite Cartridge.

The background paper for this card is from the K & Company Confetti paper pad.
Papertrey Ink and Bazzil cardstock were also used.
I glossy accented the party hat, and used my nestabilities
scalloped circle for the background element.

The "Birthday Wishes" banner was cut with a square punch,
the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

The inside of the card says "ROAR" and was cut with my Cricut.

Hugs,
Vanessa

NSD: MPS Challenge #12: HB2U Boy Card

Hello again,

Robyn's 12th challenge for National Scrapbook Day is to:

Make a Scrapbook Page or Card with a Kid's theme!

I love how this card turned out. So super cute!

To create this card I used the B is for Boy Cricut Lite Cartridge, Papertrey Ink stamps, and the K & Company Confetti paper pad.

I used my white jelly roll pen for the dots and dashes detail. Love it! It adds so much to this card and was so simple to do.

Hugs,
Vanessa

NSD: MPS Challenge #7

Hello again.

My last post for this evening for Robyn's seventh challenge for National Scrapbook Day is to:
Make a Scrapbook Page!

This page was made with the DCWV Baby Girl stack and New Arrival Cricut Cartridge.

I glimmer misted the baby outfits with Irridescent gold.
They are attached to little hangers and a ribbon "clothes line".

Hugs,
Vanessa

NSD: MPS Challenge #5

Hello Everyone,

Robyn's fifth challenge for National Scrapbook Day is to: Create Any 3-D item

I chose to alter a wooden frame that I purchased from Michaels. The frame was painted with White Folk Art Paint, then mod poged with patterned paper from a 2010 Stampin' Up Designer Series paper pack.

The larger flowers are Prima E-Line that were colored with
Lindy Stamp Gang's Autumn Maple Crimson and Creme Brulee Cream Starburst Sprays,
the smaller are recollections mini roses.

Thanks for Stopping by!

Hugs,
Vanessa

NSD: MPS Challenge #4

Hello!

Robyn's fourth challenge for National Scrapbook Day is to:
Make something with a Mother's Day Theme!

Hugs,
Vanessa

NSD: MPS Challenge #3

Hello Everyone,

Robyn's third challenge for National Scrapbook Day is to:
Make a card, scrapbook page, or 3-D item with a breast cancer theme.

For this card I used a few Making Memories papers and stickers
that I had purchased from Michaels. I also used Papertrey Ink
Sweet Blush Saddle Stitch Ribbon and Vintage Creme Cardstock.

The inside sentiment is
"There's beauty to be found in every corner".

Hugs,
Vanessa

NSD: MPS Challenge #2

Welcome back!

Robyn's second challenge for National Scrapbook Day is to: Make a card or scrapbook page using Kraft cardstock

I choose to make a scrapbook page with Kraft Cardstock as my background.

This Scrapbook layout was super easy and I love how it turned out. I followed the sketch from Sassy Lil' Sketches. The butterflies were cut with my cuddlebug and the Stampin' Up Butterflies Sizzix Bigz Die. Prima Swirl Pearls were used for the "trails". The pattered paper is from the Basic Grey Hello Luscious and My Mind's Eye Stella and Rose Collections. LOVE these papers.

Here is a close up of the "MOM" title that I cut and layered
with my Storybook Cricut Cartridge.

This layout will be put to good use with the Mother's Day pictures we will take tomorrow.

Hugs,
Vanessa

NSD: MPS Challenge #1

Happy National Scrapbook Day!

To celebrate I am participating in Robyn's Challenges at http://www.mypinkstamper.com/.

Challenge #1 - Anything Cupcake

I've had the DCWV Sweet Stack for quite a few months and this was the perfect opportunity to use it. I choose this super cute baby pink chocolate cupcake paper as my background.

Sentiment on the front of the card is "Happy Birthday".
I adhered mini glue dots to the "chocolate frosting" and then poured the baby pink
Martha Stewart Glitter on top of them. Instant Sprinkles!

The inside says "Sweet Birthday Wishes".

Supplies

Cardstock: Papertrey Ink Kraft, DCWV Sweet Stack, Core’dinations light gold and brown
Ribbon: Michaels Celebration ribbon in baby pink
Stamp: Papertrey Ink, Inkadinkado
Ink: Staz-on Brown
Tools: Cricut, Create a Critter Cartridge, Martha Stewart Glitter, Mini Glue Dots
